Our Beliefs
As Bible-believing Christians, we believe that God entered His creation, became man (truly God and truly man), lived the perfect life we never could, and willingly took the punishment we deserved on the cross. (John 3:16-18) Every one of us has sinned and fallen short of God's glory. He is holy and perfect, yet we have all broken His law through our thoughts, words, and actions. The wages of sin is death. (Romans 6:23)
But because Jesus lived the perfect life we could not live, died in our place, and rose again in victory over sin and death, God offers forgiveness and eternal life to all who repent (turn from sin), place their faith in Christ, and submit to Him as Lord. (Romans 6:23) When this happens, God gives us a new heart and makes us a new creation in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:17) Through the work of the Holy Spirit, we grow to love what God loves, deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him. We are no longer separated from our Creator but brought into a real and lasting relationship with Him. This gift of salvation is not earned. It is God's grace and mercy freely offered through Jesus Christ to all who will receive Him.
Because of this, we believe it is our calling to share the Gospel with the world, making disciples of all nations and teaching others to follow Christ faithfully. (Matthew 28:18-20, 2 Timothy 2:2) For we were created by Him, for Him, and to point others to Him.
